dirty little whirlwind, i'm pinned to the heart of your swirl.

i had lunch with tomi on monday and it was lovely to see her again after so long.
we shared stories and she gave me advice and then i decided to go to the museum of fine arts with her and emma.
unfortunately it was closed so we went to adrenaline because it was so close by and tomi wanted to get a piercing anyway.
while we were there i made the ever so impulsive decision to get my left ear pierced – something i’ve been thinking of doing for a while now.
we were already there, so i thought ‘why not?’
better now than ever, right?
i think it’s cute and that’s all that matters.
however, i will say that that is not how i thought the day would turn out.
you’ve got to love the little adventures life throws your way.
sunday night was one of the most spellbinding and enchanting nights i’ve had in a very long time.
bashu invited me over for dinner and i walked into his home to be greeted by the wonderful sounds of him and tristan playing an accordion and a guitar.
the whole household was filled with music, with brandon working on one of his songs in his room, and i was delightfully impressed.
newly cooked food had the place smelling delectable and as more people arrived i felt more and more in tune with everything.
dinner was delicious, accompanied by a healthy amount of wine, and it was nice to just sit down and unwind with good company and good conversation.
everything was so relaxed and so natural and everyone was so friendly and so interesting and it was just a little slice of everyday magic that i think i need more of.
after dinner we had some cupcakes made from scratch, courtesy of khy (who had also brought icing and sprinkles so we could go crazy decorating).
bashu made tea and we all sat down bathed in candlelight to enjoy some music provided by the people who were willing to share.
i always enjoy hearing live music, and the talent that night was off the charts.
my friends write some beautiful songs, and it was nice to just sit down and let the music wash over me.
everything about that night – the food, the ambiance, the company – it was all divine.
intimate experiences shared by wonderful people always make my heart soar.
last night was joffjoff’s birthday and it was fun.
we went to korova and danced the night away.
tonight i went to bdp against my better judgement and it was fun so i guess it was worth it. i played slap cup for the first time ever and it still confuses me.
i’m going to get a haircut tomorrow and i’m excited.
changes are happening all around – spring is coming and it’s about time.
there is music playing and the boys are playing video games and everyone seems like they’re in such a good mood and it’s so warm and fuzzy and my hands are tingly and i’m bursting with joy.
