i spent a lot of time at the AGO this weekend after buying their $35 annual pass (which grants you access to their permanent collction and all special exhibitions – an incredible deal).
my energies tend to come and go in waves and phases, and usually between the fall and winter, i move into a more quiet internal space – and i guess it was nice to spend time in an external space that reflected that.
i love beautiful things and beautiful spaces, and lines and curves that are pleasing to the eye. and i love being surrounded by process and inspiration and the fruits of those inspirations, and histories and stories and people quietly brushing past each other taking everything in.
now that i have an annual pass, i want to spend time writing there – in that quiet, meditative space surrounded by so many other perspectives all made into such beautiful things.
