there was a ticket debacle today that played on my nerves.
everyone was so easy to put on their condescending tones and laugh at my questions when i was just trying to figure things out.
i was just trying to see which information was relevant – pick out what i had to know to make sure nothing was wrong.
and they kept saying things like ‘THESE ARE THE TICKET NUMBERS. LOOK AT THE TICKET NUMBERS,’ when i knew what to do from the start.
just count. count everything. know how many tickets you started with. count how many tickets you sold. count how many tickets you have left. make sure everything adds up.
i don’t give a shit about ticket numbers.
everybody’s so busy taking molehills and making mountains that i just don’t want to climb.
when people look at me, can they really only see carelessness and stupidity?
when people are dealing with me, i think they should remember who they’re talking to.
and maybe stop trying to blame me for everything,
stop throwing me into the fire
and stop filling the air with hollow threats i don’t pay any attention to.
why is everyone so ready to believe i’ve done something wrong?
why is everyone just waiting for me to mess up?
they’re all poised to point and laugh.
sometimes i hate council.
i know none of them think i should be president.
but i also know i deserve everything i have.
