yodit and i went to the beach today.
a friend of ours was supposed to meet us there but that didn’t end up working out.
nevertheless, we had a good time not-tanning (the sun remained hidden behind a layer of clouds the entire time and it was about 4pm by the time we got there), enjoying some realtalk and dipping into the water for a swim from time to time.
i love the beach.

soraya and i bought chelsea a fish as her belated birthday present today.
we went all the way to the cj’s pet store at eglinton to get it.
she took a long time deciding which fish to buy (“they all look so dead”) because she wanted the fish to be compatible with the tank she bought for it.
this means we needed to get one of the pretty betta fish instead of one of the livelier and much more amusing – yet dumb-looking – fish that were on display.
after we bought the fish, we went and ate sushi because we were craving it.

the fish’s name is blueshi.
blue + sushi.
